AI ART DIRECTION / TRIBUTE CAMPAIGN

MUREX D’OR

A tribute across generations.

THE IDEA

New scenes.
Unforgettable voices.

A ten-film campaign conceived for social platforms and the Murex d’Or event. Lebanese and international artists return in imagined cinematic encounters—a tribute to the performances, personalities and cultural memory they left with us.

The campaign includes artists who are no longer with us alongside living icons. These are AI-assisted reconstructions, created as an homage rather than presented as newly recorded performances.

From archive to cinema.

The original performance, the adapted lip-sync and the final cinematic scene, shown side by side.

Preserving the performance.

The archival reference anchors the expression and mouth movement. Motion adaptation carries that performance into a reconstructed character; camera movement, lighting and environment give it a new cinematic setting.

02

A familiar presence. A new world.

Fairouz / The stage

A voice. A stage. A shared memory.

Fairouz’s performance opens into a monumental night scene: warm light, ancient columns and an audience held by the same voice.

Elvis playing guitar aboard a yacht

Unexpected encounters.

Sabah and Elvis share a sunlit musical world aboard a yacht. The pairing makes the tribute playful, while the styling, setting and performance keep each character recognisable.

Wadih Al Safi & Zaki Nassif / A musical conversation

Room for intimacy.

A quieter musical encounter contrasts with the stage spectacle. Instrument details, gestures and close-ups bring the campaign back to the artists themselves.

03

Building the presence.

Character references establish costume, silhouette and facial identity before the performance enters a scene.

One character. Across every shot.

The supplied character sheets and connected shot workflows show how identity, environment and camera direction are developed together, then carried through the sequence.

04

Many worlds. One tribute.

Coastal journeys, street scenes, red-carpet moments and musical encounters extend the campaign beyond a single visual setting.
